Thinker's Tavern: Sovereignty

The topic for this session is sovereignty, which deals with freedom and the right of rulership (particularly self-rule). The question is--do we really want it? Thinker's Tavern programs are informal get togethers to discuss philosophical, cultural, and psychological topics. The faculty facilitator will start with a framing discussion and/or presentation. Differing viewpoints are welcome, but conversation should remain civil. The goal of the workshop is gain more perspective on current cultural structures and start to think about how they might change.
